The CPLA newsletter keeps you posted on activities and legislation that affect your local library. Officers communicate the CPLA vision and goals in order to keep the focus on service improvements, to all of our members.

Each year, CPLA recognizes and honors those who have done outstanding work that has an impact on California libraries and their communities. Past awardees have included trustees, commissioners, Friends or Foundation board members, librarians, politicians, media representatives or organizations whose actions have strengthened libraries and/or library services in their communities.
